Features

  • To enable our customers to place long term deposits to earn attractive rate of interest along with a flexibility in choosing the deposit amount in both Mode STDR/TDR/TSFD ( Tax saver fixed Dep cannot be premature before maturity)
  • Eligibility: Individuals in single and joint account with Mod of operation E or S, f or S, Any or S (Jointly operated not permissible)
  • Period of deposit: Minimum – 7 days and Maximum - 10 years But for TSFD the minimum period should be 5 years
  • Minimum Deposit amount Rs. 1000/- at any one instance. ( Under TSFD
  • Maximum deposit amount Rs.99,99,999/- at any one instance.
  • Premature penalty up to Rs.5 lacs is waived and above Rs.5 lacs 0.5% penalty on applicable interest rate.
  • Nomination available in favour of individual only.
  • DL/OD can be availed 90% on STDR & 75% ON TDR AND On TSFD no OD allowed
  • Transferability allowed among branches
  • Rate of interest as applicable to Term Deposits for Public and Senior Citizens
  • TDS is applicable at prevalent rate. Form 15G/15H can be submitted by the depositor to get exemption from Tax deduction as per Income Tax Rules.

Most important Terms and Conditions

  • Interest can be paid on monthly intervals on discounted rate.
  • Interest can also be paid at Calendar quarter basis.
  • TDS at prevalent Income tax rate is deducted if Form 15G/15H not submitted.
  • Auto renewal is exercised if maturity instructions are not given.
